Every desire comes with a cost. Are you paying too much? Is getting what you do have stealing your contentment.
Some say that the path to happiness is to eliminate desires because the free desires the more contentment. But this is deceptive! It is not the suppression of desires but valuing the cost of each desire correctly. Don’t sell your happiness, friends and loved ones for desires that are not worth it.
